Romans 6:17
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Today's Thought: The life tells the doctrine that shaped it.
John MacArthur wrote: "Nothing is more wicked than for someone to claim to speak for God to the salvation of souls when in reality he speaks for Satan to the damnation of souls." Indeed, those who teach erroneous doctrines are evil men who deceive others and lead them to the horrors of hell.
It is often said that if you want to know the doctrines of a congregation, all you need to do is examine the lives of its members. When a church follows an unadulterated pattern of teaching, the lives of people are also unadulterated, but the opposite is also true.
In this latter days, let us be aware of false doctrines that do not have the intention of making a person understand the saving grace of Jesus Christ, but deceive men to believe in the necessity of works, or in worshiping angels, or in glorifying woods and stones.
