William Carey, a shoemaker, hung a worldmap in his shop. He began to pray that God would ignite hearts of men to reach the lost. Afterwhich, he went to India himself and became the forerunner of modern missions. His tombstone reads: A wretched, poor and helpless worm, on Thy kind arms I fall.
God should be the only source of our strength. All we accomplish for Him are His and not ours. Our physical strength and mental capacity come from the Lord. The air we breath is God's. Everything we see is God's.
We can trust others, but only God is faithful to do what He has promised. We should allow God to work in our lives. The more we approach the Lord, the more we should trust Him in every sphere of our lives.
