The Lovingkindness of the Lord - September 6, 2017

Psalm 36:7
How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Today's Thought: The lovingkindness of the Lord speaks of His majesty and grace.

From 1929 to 1939, the world saw the greatest economic failure in the history of the world. It started in the United States when the Wall Street crashed and put the lives and futures of millions of investors in a limbo. Banks and companies around the world saw massive bankruptcy which was unparalleled in the history of global economy. Unemployment, rising poverty, famine, and even shortfall of morality swept the United States and the globe.

When there is a bankruptcy in man, there is fullness with God. While the needs of man could hardly be overstated, the provision and resources of God could hardly be understated. There will always be enough. While emptiness and nothingness are words for man, God is always equated with abundance and grace. There is satisfaction in the lovingkindness of the Lord and it will always be enough to meet the needs of every man.

Because of the Lord's overwhelming lovingkindness and grace, let us draw near to Him. Let us put our trust under the shadow of His wings and find safety, protection and provision. Let ts draw near to the fullnes of the Lord's house and enjoy dependence on Him.
