Daniel 1:9
Now God had brought Daniel info favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
Today's Thought: Only the Lord can prepare favor among men for you.
Working in a company is not easy. You have to maintain a harmonious relationship with co-workers who may not like you. Conflicts arise in the workplace and it becomes the reason for the turnover among employees. As much as it is true with the workplace, it is also true with other aspects and areas of a person's life.
Daniel had just been taken captive from Judah as one of the chosen young men to be under the Jewish education program of Nebuchadnezzar. It was a new land with the eunuchs who didn't have affinity with the nation of Israel. It would have been already hard. And Daniel contended not to defile himself with the meat at the king's table - that would mean disaster. But Daniel found favor with the prince of eunuchs. It was the Lord who brought that favor, who worked in the heart of the prince of eunuchs for him to favor Daniel.
If we want to be favored at school, at the our workplace, or anywhere, let us first found favor in the sight of God. If we have an intimate relationship with God, surely all these things will He add unto us.
