Psalm 118:23
Today's Thought: There is no single flaw in the plan of the Lord for our lives.
On November 17, 1558, Queen Mary died and Princess Elizabeth became the queen. Upon learning the news of her accession at Hatfield House, while under the old oak tree, the famous response of the now Queen Elizabeth I was "A Domino factum est illud et est mirabile in oculis nostris." This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
Faith is believing in the will of God in our lives and trusting in the goodness of His heart. If we have trusted the Lord our soul, why can't we trust Him with our dear life? If He has given us His Son Jesus Christ for our salvation, will He not be good of His plan for us? Paul says no. But what we need to do is wait for the unfolding of the Lord's perfect will in our lives.
We must not be weary in well-doing for our Lord knows our labor. It is better for us to surrender our will to the Lord and let Him captain our ship before we sink into the miry clay of sin and despair. It is about time we truly surrender everything to the Lord, even our lives - and not just our souls.
This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
