Luke 22:10-12
Today's Thought: The Lord is trustworthy in every situation we may be in.
Dr. John Rice had an amazing story of his decision to go to Bible college. After praying for the Lord to meet the need, Dr. Rice went to a local bank to ask for a loan for the semester as he would be getting a part time job to pay it back. The banker did not ask for anything but immediately approved the loan to the consternation of a man standing by. The banker said John had helped in before and he was returning the favor.
We should be reminded that even before you ask of the Lord, He already knows what you need. He is a God who knows everything, lest you forget. We may not understand the plan He has in store for the future, but we know that God is able to see every detail of the purpose He wants to accomplish in our lives.
God is always good and He always provides. David acknowledges this in Psalm 9:10 "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." There is nothing impossible and hard for the Lord to do.
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
