When Faith Breaks Through - February 12, 2018

Mark 2:4

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

Today's Thought:  Faith finds ways to reach the presence of God.

The world has seen several inventions and innovations over the years. It is the era of knowledge-economy; the era of technological advancements. It seems that seemingly hard to penetrate barriers are cracking down as bombarded by new thoughts and ideas. Invention is always the child of needs. In the passage, the friends of the palsied man did not allow the barrier to stop them from reaching the Lord.

It is always impossible to please God without faith; and it is always necessary to seek God diligently. We cannot just speak of faith and let our faith alone. There is a need to toil and work on our faith to allow the grace of God to work on our faith and make it grow from the small mustard seed to the one that can move mountains. If we need to break roofs and windows for our faith to perform some great feats, then break we must.

The Lord is always willing to help us do wonderful things we could never imagine, but it needs the eyes and heart of faith. We should not allow any obstacle to stop from reaching the Lord. We must uncover our roofs to bring our needs to Him.
