Exodus 2:24
And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Today's Thought: Faith is trusting God and His promises.
When we had problems, we can often hear our friends saying: "for every problem I had, you were there, and I can feel the pain you are suffering from. Just tell me for I am more ready to help you." Right there we understand that someone cares for us aside from my God. We understand that someone hears our groaning other than God. Yet, I know that our God’s ears are better and His words are more tender and comforting.
Often times, we tell others of what we feel and what we think, but we failed to tell our God. We miss the whole point of faith and life. Instead of giving God our praise by telling Him our problems and groaning, we prefer to tell our friends, our neighbors or some other people. This is an insult to the Lord’s power. Our God is not a God of last resort. He will remain and forever will be a strong fortress we can come unto.
It is the best time to reconsider our ways. Let us understand that God remembers the pain we are suffering from. Always bear in mind that He remembers His covenant He promised the day we accepted His dear Son.
