When Your Forget What's Vital - August 5, 2017

Hosea 8:3
Israel hath hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.

Today's Thoughts: You can never win any battle of your life with the Lord.

What would a commanding general of an army say if his soldier goes to war and throws off the rifle over the ridge? What would a teacher say if a student goes to school everyday without a single pen to be used? What would a mason say of his apprentice when he goes to the construction site without his tools? Or what would an orchestra conductor say of a violinist who left his violin at home?

Going to battle or anything without the proper tools is a big mistake. Much more, going on with life without the glory of the Lord in our lives is a fatal mistake. Israel had forgotten about the Lord; they thought they could win battles against their enemies without the might of the Lord our God. Several Christians think they could muster a little success without the presence and blessing of the Lord. As they try to wrestle with anything in life, they are also casting off Jesus Christ out of their lives.

Let us be always aware of where we are placing God in our lives. He should have the prominent position in our hearts. He should take the full command and honor of our lives.
