2 Corinthians 12:10
Today's Thought: Bring your troubles before the presence of God and He will take your worries away.
Hudson Taylor was used by the Lord in China, reaching thousands of Chinesse with the gospel and challenging churches around the world to do more for the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. But his life in China was not easy. Yet, in all these, he wrote: I am no longer anxious about anything, as I realize the Lord is able to carry out His will, and His will is mine. It makes no matter where He places me, or how.
Let us draw strength from the Lord for when we are weak, then His power and majesty is strong and can be seen in our lives. The Lord is always in control. What we have to do is trust Him who knows about tomorrow.
There is nothing happening to us that could suprise the Lord. His knowledge is always perfect and we can trust that He will do what is best for us. Spiritual growth happens when we are tested and in deep pain. Let us rest on the care and grace of our Lord.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
