Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Today's Thought: Be ready for the spiritual battle we are facing.
Before Allied Forces could capture the heartland of Germany, they had to cross the Rhine. Nearing victory, Allied Forces were confident they could end the war. However, the Battle of the Bulge on the Rhine was one of the biggest failures of the American and British forces. The divide and conquer strategy was used by Germany to overwhelm the Allied Forces in a surprise attack.
While we are here on earth, there will be no end on our fight against the devil. This is a spirtual war and we need spiritual strength and weapons to withstand the devil's advance. We should not take off our armor down for everyday is a battle to be won, against the devil, against flesh. There are no holidays for the devil and he never gets tired.
Without the armor of God, we can never win a victory against the devil. We do not have spiritual armor of the Lord not for knowledge only, but for us to apply on our lives. We need to put on the whole armour of God if we want success and survival in these daily battles we do have.
