1 Corinthians 15:28
Today's Thought: If God be the Lord of our lives, then He must all in all.
We may commit our lives to God or even offer our life a living sacrifice, but if God will not be all in all, our commitment is shallow. All teaching about consecration will be in vain not until God will be all in all. It cannot be real in our lives until we realize that God is our all in all before He can fully use us for His honor and glory.
What is the reason for our complaints on our feebleness or discouragement? Where do we trace our failure or lost blessing? It could be summarized into this: God is not enthroned in His rightful place in our lives. If we don't have God as all in all, then we are trying to half-live Christianity - and we will find ourselves pierced with too much pain and burden.
Let us learn the dedication and Lordship of Christ over John Calvin. He had given up everything for Christ, but at the end of all, he found everything in Christ. Let us make Christ as our ALL in ALL.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all.
